As part of its efforts to establish eco-friendly business practices, Spot Image is working actively to reduce its environmental footprint.

In pursuit of this objective, the company is putting in place an ISO 14001 environmental management system (EMS).

This new commitment will consolidate Spot Image’s image as a socially responsible corporate citizen. The company is already engaged in initiatives like Planet Action and is applying a range of practices geared toward good environmental stewardship (energy saving, waste recycling and individual eco-friendly actions).

Having evaluated our environmental impacts and our carbon footprint, we have identified the following improvement actions:

  • save resources by consuming less energy and paper 
  • optimize waste management 
  • act to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions 
  • build good environmental practices into our purchasing processes
