When completed at the beginning of 2005 the Millau viaduct will be the highest bridge in the world, measuring 343 m from the ground to the top of the tallest pylon. The SPOT image acquired last August shows part of the viaduct seen to the south (white line). The structure which has already been erected stretches over 350 m. 6 pylons and their shadows are clearly visible. |
